Buying Guide & FAQs

How do I choose between printed and woven labels?
  • Printed labels: Softer and suitable for complex designs, multiple colors, and detailed information such as care label. Colors may fade after repeated washing.
  • Woven labels: More durable and ideal for brand logos and simple designs. They are resistant to washing and abrasion and less likely to fade.

Before choosing, consider the fabric, design, and durability requirements.

There is no single “best” option, you can choose based on the label type and clothing material:

  • Main labels: Cotton is a good choice. But some toys, children’s clothing, and home textiles use satin labels as main labels.
  • Care and size labels: Satin is the most common option, while polyester, nylon tape, non-woven fabric, and cotton are also suitable. Tyvek is a more premium option.

Satin is the most common material for garment care labels. It is soft and smooth, wash-resistant, delivers sharp print and offers good cost performance.

Non-woven fabric provides a finer surface finish, nylon tape is also a practical and cost-effective option. Tyvek gives a more premium look.

Keep in mind that each material comes in different quality levels and price ranges.

Common printing methods include silk screen printing, rotary printing, heat transfer printing, and digital printing. The best method depends on the label material, design, colors, level of detail, and required quantity.

Yes. It supports multi-colors printing, gradients, complex logos and artwork. Digital printing is a good option for complex, multi-color artwork and color gradients.

Printed label can be machine washable and are generally resistant to fading when the right material and printing method are used. For frequent or high-temperature washing, we recommend testing samples first.

We recommend ordering at least 500 pieces for a more cost-effective price.

Prices can vary significantly depending on the material, color, size, and quantity. For 1,000 labels, the cost may range from $60–150. For larger quantities, the unit price can drop significantly.
