Buying Guide & FAQs

What materials are available for woven labels, and what are the differences?

The main materials are damask, satin, and cotton.

  • Damask: Most common, Fine, dense, and durable, ideal for detailed logos.
  • Satin: Soft and smooth, suitable for labels that touch the skin.
  • Cotton: Soft and natural, suitable for brands looking for a more natural feel.

The right choice depends on your design, garment, and budget.

  • Woven labels: More durable and ideal for logos and simple designs. They resist washing and abrasion and are less likely to fade.
  • Printed labels: Softer and better for complex designs, multiple colors, and detailed information such as care instructions.

Choose based on your garment material, design, and durability requirements.

Common placements include the neck, side seam, hem, waistband, and sleeve. The best position depends on the garment style and label purpose.

Common options include straight cut, center fold, end fold, and loop fold. The right fold depends on where the label will be attached and how you want it to look.
