Elastic String Design

Connection method:
Perforation fixation: The rope passes through the preset holes of the hang tag and is knotted and fixed (applicable to paper and plastic hang tags).
Ultrasonic welding: The rope is fixed to the edge of the hang tag through high-temperature pressing (commonly used for plastic or composite hang tags, which is more secure).
Advantages:
Flexible and convenient: It can be easily wrapped around products (such as collars, bag straps, zipper heads, etc.), adaptable to different sizes, and easy to disassemble.
Firm and not easy to fall off: The elasticity of the elastic rope can prevent the hang tag from falling off due to product movement or pulling.

Tag material and design

Material:
Paper: coated paper, kraft paper (lightweight, low cost, suitable for short-term use).
Plastic (PVC/PET): waterproof, wear-resistant, suitable for outdoor or high-frequency contact scenarios (such as sportswear).
Fabric/ribbon: consistent with the product material (such as denim clothing with fabric tags), the texture is more advanced.
Design points:
Punch position: usually in the center or corner of the top of the tag, the hole diameter must match the thickness of the elastic rope (to avoid the rope slipping or the hole tearing).
Anti-scratch treatment: smooth edges or film coating to prevent the elastic rope from rubbing and causing the tag to break.

Application scenario

Clothing industry

Scenario: fixed to the collar, cuffs or hem, marking size, fabric, washing instructions, brand logo, etc.
Advantages: The elastic rope can adapt to clothes of different thicknesses (such as down jackets, sweaters), and no scissors are required when removing to avoid damage to the clothes.
Case: Fast fashion brands often use paper tags + rubber bands, while sports brands often use plastic tags + nylon elastic ropes (washable).

Bags/Accessories

Scenario: Hang on bag straps, pull rods or key chains to mark product models, materials, maintenance information, or as brand decorations.
Advantages: The elastic rope can be adjusted in length to fit bags of different sizes and is resistant to shaking (such as suitcases that are not easy to fall off during transportation).

Scenario: Used for packaging tags for necklaces and bracelets, or information cards on the outside of shoe boxes (such as technical parameter labels for sports shoes).
